The Night we dined @ Ben;s Shop =)

Ben was havimg his early CNY party at his shop on sat so yeah as tired as i was after rugby in the am..i dragged my ass over to his shop hahhaa..which i didnt regret cause there was loads of good foodie!!! hahaha

The best part was he didnt really expect so many ppl to turn up! hahahha..it was pretty crowded at his shop so he made use to the space outside to accomdate the masses that just kept coming....plus he had loads of wines and alkie as gifts HAHAH so it was like free-flow for us...hahhhaha...

Mom,dad,Char and spencer were already there when i reached ...haha kinda said hi and then rushed over to the buffet spread!!! hha yum..had all sorts of food..fried rice..jap food..sushi..noodles..veggies..dumplings..fish..pork...popiah..and the list goes on and on HAHHAHAa...

Kris, the other hairstylist brought her daughter along and she's the most adorable thing i have ever seen!!! ahaha..i had the honour of being her date for the night hahha but for future dates..i have to ask her mom kris for permission hahhaa...but i kinda have to wait for like another 16 years? before i can date her HAHAHAHHAHA..

but she is really really the adorable thing to walk this earth...lucky kris..

It was really funny as they didnt have any place to wash the plates so that it can be reused so they washed it at the hair washing area.. hahha to which all of us said that we would really think twice if we ever have to wash our hair hahahha..

Honestly speaking, i think being a hairstylist allows you to have the biggest network of people. I met so many different people from different walks of life and in different fields. Of course there were quite a few models and all but they were really nice to talk too. Met a few bankers..traders..and even someone working for the Singapore Symphony Orchestra hahah..

All in all..we all have something in common..BEN..haha cause he cuts our hair..he really should be given a new title.." the Family Hairstylist" cause all the families go to him. In fact its almost the same story with the rest, my mom was the first to try him out then she brought my sis..and my sis brought me and later my dad hahha..everyone had the same story on how they got to know ben haha..

the most commomly heard and asked quesion of the night was " So did Ben cut ure hair too?" hahhah...

Post-Tournament Chillout @ Rachael's

The post-tournament chill out was held once again at Rachael's place...
I went over as soon as i could as i had to go over to Ben's Salon for an early CNY party..haha..

When i got to Rachael's place, the moment i stepped out of the lift, waves and waves of laughter and screams came into my direction hahahha..it was crazy..i thought there was some orgy going on HAHHA.. *grinzs*..

They were playing some game whereby one groups challenges the other group for one of its members by having a rep from both groups fight it out with all kinds of challenges...simple games to totally weird ones HAHAH..i got involved in challenging ahmand in the game of Chopsticks..its really mental haha..

Chups and Wan wan challenged each other with push ups and decided to end it in a draw as they were both turning red and ..we all had a tiring day after comp HAHAA..crazy times seriously!...

After that the gambling mood got the better of all of us and some played mahjong and the others played Poker: Texas Holden..hahah..i cant believe i stayed till 6ish!!!..wanted to stay over at Rachael's but decided not too as had to go somewhere with the rents on sun so decided to head home and dropped chong hsien along the way too....bloody bugger won from all of us..lucky thing that we played small.. haha i lost 14.chups lost 11 and Rachael lost 2..hahaha..man my biggest win was 4 dais!!! HAHA..chong's biggest win was 5 dais!! haha so sad..i really need to play more!!!!! to prepare of CNY..income generation day HAHAH..

it was just really great hanging out..crapping much much more HAHAHA..and most imptly...we were all having fun! HAHa..thanks again Rach for having us over!!...

Weekends just seem to FLY away...

Argh..wouldn't you know it, its back to work on mon..
weekends really seem to fly away, it seems just like yesterday that it was sat again... haha..oh well..
hmm weekend was a bit packed, had a Rugby tournament @ BLOODY changi Naval Base but it was at 130pm so had to be there by 1230 at least to warm up with the guys..the gals started at 1130am so they went earlier..
Kinda forgot how far the damn base was, and took me like ard half an hour to get there. Last time i went there was when i was still in the army =P

It was such a freakin hot day..haha Nat msg me to bring an igloo or at leat buckets of ice!!!..i mean whaddya expect when you play at that time -grinzs-. Well i managed to get there ard 1pm, just in time to have a quick warm up with the guys and decide who was gonna start first, turns out i had to start first hahhaa...
Crazy match..first one was against RP..and we scored first but they managed to tie and win the game in the last min so yeah..but it was our first match. Guess the guys werent warmed up yet. We did managed to tie our second and win our third match to come in overall 3rd!! So yeah...i gotta say we did pretty well as a new team!.

Our medals for the day were sunburnt faces...arms..legs...cuts..brusies and loads of blood was spilt hahah. I had the skin on my right knee cap kinda like skinned off..so yeah it was pretty gross!! hahaha... thats wad rugby is all about...No pain no Glory ..no GUts! HAHAHAAAAHA..but it was all worth it. Cheering the girls on..the girls cheering us on..Hanging out..messing ard..taking shit loads of pictures..its what camaraderie is all about. Our Team is a Living Proof and model example.!!! i'm gonna miss you guys now that competitions are over and we'll be taking a break due to work commitments..sch and exams..but we'll def hang out once in a while!!!

Poor Rod cldnt play as he had popped his knee like a week before the competition @ training...bummed out...but still he came and supported us even thought the event was at Changi Naval Base! Thats what i called commitment man!!!..he even helped us take pics...provided the gals shelter from the shade from his wheelchair AHHAHAHA...3 Cheers to ROd. hahhaa..

But for now, we have the pics to remind us of what a crazy time we had !!! hahaha..

Deborah's Last Week!!..chillin @ ice cold beer

*sigh* another one bites the dust...haha not literally!! haha but i meant that another one is leaving! hhahaaha..
and at least i managed to see " snow-white" b4 she leaves..seeing as how she's been her for quite long and i was only able to meet up with her on wed HAHAHA..sorry debz...but i got to meet u on fri as well..so that was twice that i got to meet up with u!! haha all the best with ure master!! last sem!!! go for the kill!! and after that...go work for ure mom lah!!! STOP COMPLAINING CAN!! she's in Wealth Mgmt!! wad the hell hahhaa.thats a really good place to start..haha if not.can we switch places hahahha

i didnt really know what to put for the title hahhaa..
*grinz* basically it was Zarah's last night in singy literally b4 flying back to melbourne...and it was kevin's first night back in singy from Switzerland ..so u see my situation *grinz* as weill as keiran's first night back too from tasmania.. im glad that my mate are back and sad to see the others go as i wasnt able to spend time with most of them due to my work schedule!

Wasnt able to see zarah for the whole week that she was here cause i had work and ended last almost each day thus making it hard to plan anything. ...but the Good lord has been kind to me and thus enabling me to meet up with all of them on sat night! haha! We went to bungy bar @ clarke Quay,near the bungy thingy...and i wanted to test out my New Canon 400D DSLR camera..so yeah..!!! haha seemed like a good oppourtunity..haha..and i found out that zarah just got one too!!! plus hers was cheaper cause she got it outside singy!! hahah so the whole night was spent comparing notes and yes of course photo whoring away...with the new cameras..hence the shit loads of pictures..but i shall spare you all and only upload the nice ones ....man the images on my new baby is so damn good!!! makes everyone look good! i tried taking a few marco shots..which i thought turned out pretty nice!!

Headed over to China One after we were done with drinks at bungy bar...it was like Wala wala and Acid bar combined!! ..huge and freakin LOUD!!! The resident band was great!!!..with the smashing drums...electriflying guitar stokers and the singer screaming his lungs out...got the crowd really worked up..hmm whcih would explain why i got my beer smashed ... =( hahhahaha..

well see if u can tell which pics are taken by my canon 400D and which are the ones taken by my sonyT200..i think its prett obvious..!! haha there is really a BIG DIFFERENCE!!!...spot it and winner gets a beer...

*but this doesnt apply to jac cause we all know she cant drink!! * hahhaha

Eva's last night in Singy... =(

Well its that time of the year..
everyone has to go back to school..for UK and canada peepz...
Eva decided to hold a gathering @ acid bar..haha since i inducted her to the place last year. She fell in love with the place too =) Niceness!!
It was just another same ole busy day @ work....kinda ended a tad earlier so decided to call eugene and nirmal for dinner @ our fav place. 5 Star Chicken rice @ river valley road....I hate eugene haha cause he lives like bloddy ten mins away from that place hahhaa..bastard! haha..oh well.at least i park at his place most of the time and walk to town. It really does save u a ton on parking!!! and all that shit.... =P

We had the usual, chicken, veg,prawns and tofu..which was really quite a lot judging that only three of us were eating and we all could eat a lot hahah..Kinda STUFFED at the end but contented in the belly.. *grinzs*

Still had time to kill cause eva was only gonna be at acid bar round 9ish so we decided to walk back to eugene's place, i needed to park my car there too since emerald hill was definitely gonna be packed. We decided to check out euegene's condo gym and ended up messing ard hahaha..amazingly, no one got hurt and no property was damaged !! or at least thats what we'd like you to think hahahhahah...

Done with messin ard and mosey overed to acid bar at emerald hill...and yes...i have to agree with joe pee pee..haha im a walking friendster... bumped into quite a few ppl
@ acid bar that night..including jun yi and shirley hahaha.. as well as hazel and a few others.. ITS NOT MY FAULT..its a friday night..people are bound to bump into each other hahha *grinz*..the funny thing was i only realizesd that junyi and shirley were there when i reviewed the pics i took..lo and behold..there they were in the background of the pic of diane,Eva,me and eugene hahah hilarious i tell you..

The music was fantastic and Charlene (singer) and Fatt ( guitarist) brought the house down with rockin hits after hits..everyone was raising their glasses and cheering then on... a Great way to start the weekend after a tough week at work..Nice!!

Wont be seeing eva till end of the year cause she wont be coming down in june...she's gonna go back to sweden with her sis so yeah.. =(...pity that..haha
but we did shit loads of stuff over the last week..met like literally every day during
her last week !!! hahaa went ktving...played pool..god knows what else we did..haha
The crazy nye party that left us stoned...till freakin 7am!!! ...endless supper and crazy crapping @ river valley road..hhaha the uncles literally said to us " you guys again???" after three nights in a row hahaha...GOd ahhaha

Finally Got to meet up with the " WifEy" hahhaha
havent seen her in like a bloody long time ....
best part was that i even managed to squeeze in time to meet her after work..

Rushed over after work to somerset to have dinner with diana @ acid bar..
i love that place, its like my new chill out place for this year..
U guys should go check it out if u havent been there. Its an awesome chill out place with live acoustic music and great vocals from the singer..
i highly reccomend tue nights and friday!! the group performing on these nights are AwesOme!!!...
from oldies to rockin new hits...which they have taken in and toned it down so its super easy for listening..and for the soul too..
so if u've had a hard day at work..this is the place to chill...
The foody and drinks are a plus too,if i rem its 1-for-1 on tues till 9pm. haha so yeah..

dum dee dum and we finally got bingo to a dog groomer hahahha he looks so cuteeee now hahhahahaha...

I know its like a bit late to say it but HAPPY NEW YEAR every one!!
so im like 8 days late..SUE mE ! hahahha
Well i hope that everyone had a fantastic new year's eve and on new year's day too..
It's a new year people so, let's forget any feud that we may have and lets all be friends..to err is human and thus to forgive is to forget...so lets us all leave any unhappiness that we might have had in 2007...Put it way way back and lets all start anew in this new year!...

Everyone gets a second chance in life....for some, a third or forth i guess haha if ure really screwed up *grinzS* but its a new year so yeah..screw all that hahha..

I had a pretty good new year's eve..haha..pretty funny too...considering what happened later as the night processed on. Dinner was with the cousins and we had it at Pontini at Grand Copthorne so you can prob imagine where i would have ended up after dinner hahha.. No prizes for guessing though haha.. Well dinner was pretty ok..five course frenchy meal..ha ha..pretty ok i guess.

After dinner, we all headed down to velvet..and i must say that this year's countdown was really well controlled..as in crowd control wise. There were tons of people queening outside velvet but when we got in, it was pretty much empty. hahah..but yeah..it was better for us i guess..so the countdown came and went..champagne were popping off at every corner of velvet..haha it was a champagne buffet...hahaha..
We were all photo whoring again..hahaha...but i had to leave as i had to attend a mate's bday celebration at Sky lounge at Mos so off i went and i really regretted that haha..

Mos was so freaking packed!!! to the brim...it was pretty smooth for members to get in but once u were insdie..the Nightmare begin ed. It was so packed that people were queening up to get into the RnB section SMOOVE...and that guys toilet had to have a bouncer inside to seperate the crowd so that people cldnt get into smoove through the toilets..maddness....i wished louie a happy bday and then i was off,wanted to get the hell outta of clark quay but lo and behold..there wasnt a TAXI in sight..and shit loads of people queening up greeted me as i went to the road. It was chaos!!..in the end..the guys and i decided to walk all the way to Spice @ river valley where we proceeded to consume our first meal of the year. CHICKEN AND CHEESE MURTABAK!!! haha with a big tall glass of Bundung! Suddap yah!!! hahahha..

And in the end, after countless of wrong orders..we eventually managed to get our foo and eat. Thus ending the night and welcoming us unto the first day of 2008. We were done at 545am and by the time we got a cab and reached home. It was already 630am... hahhaha... so it was indeed a happy and memorable new year for all of us..as the thing that mattered the most was, my mates were with me as we endured the events that took place that night!!..as they say..its only gonna get better as the year goes on!...

Im just waiting for what 2008 has in store for me and i wish each and everyone of you a happy new year and may it be a truely great year ahead for you!
